AEROBATICS

Aerobatics figures :

Figures are codified thanks to a notation the ARESTI. It was invented by a Spanish pilot ARESTI. Here are the basics of this notation :
  • A figure always starts with a round and finishes by a feature.
  • A full feature corresponds to the positive flight and the dotted lines with inverted flight. It is the trajectory of the plane.
  • The curved arrows are slow rolls and the number with dimensions is the number of facets (a half arrow is a half roll)
  • An horizontal triangle pointing towards the line is a spin. A large triangle is a turn of spin. A large triangle and a small triangle below and more one of pin, the number indicates a turn and quarter, and half... An empty triangle is a positive spin and a full one is a negative spin.
  • A vertical triangle is a started barrel. If it is empty it one is started positive, if it is full it one is started negative.
